Share Your Worlds with a Link

Published: September 24, 2026

Show off your world

Your worlds have always been private to you. That's still the default, but now you can share them too. Create a public link, send it to whoever you like, and they can read through your world without needing an account.

You pick what they see

Sharing is opt-in, item by item. In the Share dialog you can tick:

  • Individual tales, so you can publish one finished story without showing your drafts
  • Entities like characters, locations, and items
  • Boards, which viewers can pan and zoom around freely
  • Or the whole world, if you want everything public at once

Anything you don't tick stays private. It isn't just hidden from the page, it's never sent to viewers at all. Private entities won't even appear in the relationship lines on a shared board. Change your selection whenever you want and the same link updates straight away.

Read-only, always

Shared worlds open in a read-only view. Visitors can read everything you've shared, but they can't edit, delete, or move anything. Your world stays exactly as you left it.

Links that look right

Post a share link in Discord, on social media, or in chat and it unfurls into a preview card with your world's name, description, and cover image. If you haven't set a cover, a genre-themed image is used instead.

You can switch it off

Revoke a link from the Share dialog and it stops working instantly, including for anyone who has it open at the time. Your selections are remembered in case you want to share again, and each new link gets a fresh address so old URLs keep pointing nowhere.

Try it

Open a world and click Share in the header. For the full details see the Feature Guide.
